This cyberpunk samurai armor was developed in 2021 over a period of approximately one and a half months, which encompassed both the concept creation and final detailing. The timeline was particularly demanding as the project was solely undertaken by myself. The set includes a chest piece, two shoulder armors, a helmet, a katana, and a wakizashi, all designed for a character named Supaku, representing Flare Finance. Each armor piece, and also the blades, were crafted from metal. 

During the initial discussions, we agreed on an “eyeless” helmet design to enhance the futuristic aesthetic. Balancing traditional samurai elements with the boundaries of cyberpunk visuals proved to be quite a challenge. Modifying the horns of the samurai helmet to resemble antennas, implementing an airlock feature for the chest plate, and extend the swords with a vibro module were huge leaps in the design.

My primary regret regarding this project is that we did not have the opportunity for a photoshoot, resulting in only a limited number of publishable images that we have received from the client later on. – Dante
