Classic Terminator T800 Arm

This 1:1 T800 arm uses 52 precision 3D printed / 184 real steel connection parts and it has most realistic finish of them all.

Introduction:

There is no fate but what we make. The legendary T800 has a great amount of charm for us and for many others, that is certain. Nothing can beat that classic, pure industrial and function oriented design that Skynet has created. Our goal with this project was to not just hit the high standards, that the fans maintain, but to create the most realistic and authentic replica of the T800 arm. With the real steel parts and the 4th generation of my T800 arm collection, there is no question left.

Materials and parts:

Every single part of the arm was designed/redesigned by our team for greatly improved structural strength and stability. The pistons and the core of the arm are crafted from stainless steel, just like the bolts, nuts and washers for the finger connections. As wiring, real core copper cables were used for the absolute realism. The 3D printed parts are made from a high grade PLA filament. For the used/realistic finish, we used my good old processing and painting techniques that borrows a true field-weathered look. In our philosophy: ‘As you look at an object you can immediately tell that it has a story or not’ and this one has a lot to say…

A uniquely designed stand was created for the arm aswell. Due to its decent weight it can hold the arm straight and still for ultimate exhibitability.

Size:

The arm itself is a 1:1, true to size replica of the original one.

• the arm on its own is 57 cm / 22,5 inch long.
• the stand is 14 cm / 5,5 inch in diameter
